Bramley House Bed & Breakfast

Staunton House Bed and Breakfast, front view.

...is located in the historic Wiltshire market town of Devizes, which has its origins in the 11th Century as a castle.

Set in a quiet, private road, only a few minutes walk from the town centre, Bramley House is the perfect base from which to explore the beautiful countryside and ancient sites of Wessex.

Devizes itself is probably best known for the Kennet and Avon Canal's Caen Hill flight of 29 locks, which rises 237 feet in 2½ miles.

The Wadworth brewery, situated just off the town centre is one of the finest in the country and famous for its ales throughout the UK and beyond.

The Wiltshire Heritage Museum, together with its associated library and gallery, is designated as one of the top 62 museums in the UK, due to the excellence of its Bronze Age collections, arguably the finest to be seen outside London. Founded over 150 years ago, it has dedicated itself to preserving the rich archaeological and historical treasures and records of Wiltshire, including the World Heritage Site of Avebury and Stonehenge.
